Well theres news that Brett Favre is retiring again. Now Im still not 100 percent sure he isn't going to just show up for the Saints game to play. Honestly Childress would do anything for this guy. I mean he went down to Hattisburg to visit Favre but apparently didn't even talk about Favre retiring. And who could forget Childress leaving Training Camp to personally pick up Favre at the airport. His retirement was going to happen eventually (He can't play to 50... can he?), but I think his retirement means a couple things for the NFL.
-Green Bay should be far and away the best team in the NFC North now.
-Vikings may have lost their chance to make a super bowl run. Aging defense might need to be rubuilt.
-ESPN will have to find another guy in the NFL to fall in love with and dedicate hours on end to.
...again this is all assuming Favre is really retired and thats a really big assumption.
